Hello,I am having a hard time using the Bynder API to update asset metaproperties, and I’m unsure what the issue is. I followed this “tell me more” page which seems to suggest this is possible, but doesn’t give more detail specifically for metaproperties: I’m making a POST request to {my_bynder_address}/api/v4/media/{asset_id}, and I have confirmed I have correct authorization and a valid asset ID. When I make a GET request to this endpoint I successfully retrieve asset data.However, when I switch to a POST request and include my JSON body for the asset data update, nothing happens. I receive a “{"message":"Accepted","statuscode":202}” response, but the asset is never updated. Checking through the UI or the API both show unchanged metaproperties on the asset. Note that these metaproperties are strings, they do not have options associated with them. Hi, I am working on a staging site (which is password protected at the moment) for a new news site. I am trying to test Bynder and made a new OAuth app similar to our existing live sites (berkeleyside.org, oaklandside.org), however when making a test post and tyring to access our Bynder assests via the compact view, the “enter your domain” field is disabled. I registered a new app in Bynder OAuth settings and added the domain there, and added the new clientID and secret to the WP settings page for Bynder, but that did not work. I read all the knowldege base articles I coudl find. I am wondering if this is because of the password protection on the staging site. Any ideas?I can’t enter anything in that field.

Is anyone else having trouble with the Android mobile app?  It won’t even launch for me on a Samsung Galaxy S25 running all the latest OS updates.  I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling it and still nothing.  I’ve also noticed that the Asset Bank no longer functions on the mobile Chrome or Safari Browsers, which is also 😥.

Integrated Universal compact view in my magento2 site.I have a metaproperty called Magento_Asset with two options: “Yes” and “No.”. My requirement is to only display assets where Magento_Asset = "Yes" in compact view.I attempted to use predefinedMetapropertiesOptions, which successfully applies the filter when the Compact View loads. However, users are still able to remove this filter manually — which I want to prevent.Is there a supported way to enforce a filter on the Compact View so that only images with Magento_Asset = "Yes" are shown, and the user cannot remove or modify this filter? 

The upload API’s documentation is rather confusing. My team and I are attempting to upload media onto bynder, and we have gotten stuck multiple times. Our team has identified a use case where it would be valuable to notify any user that has downloaded an asset when a newer version is uploaded.From what I’ve seen, the webhooks out of the box for the email or email-json options are great but only allows one email and don’t want to add a wide audience that will get blasted each time a new version is updated.Are there any options to explore with the API that can pull a list of emails once an asset is updated?

Hi Team, My team is building an integration with Bynder that, on install, is creating a webhook to sync assets/asset updates to our platform. We’ve hit an issue where, on calling the ‘create webhook’ api, v7/webhooks/public/api/subscriptions, Bynder returns a 403 error. We have ensured that our oauth app has create webhook permissions and the user authorizing does as well. Any idea what might cause this? Any guidance would be much appreciated!

Our team plans on automating the uploading of our photography projects.For this, I am using the Python SDK to upload assets to Bynder and set some keywords.Most parts are working; I can login with my token, create a Collection, upload my assets, set tags and metaproperties.What I am unable to do isadd Additional Files (eg add a PDF that relates to a DNG) add relationships between assetsThe API feature set appears to be incomplete. Even if I cannot use the Python SDK for this functionality, I should be able to use the API - pure http requests() calls.

I have configured a webhook that emails me a JSON file for asset_bank.media.create and asset_bank.media.updated for our portal.I manage these emails with rules in outlook so they don’t get in the way of my day to day. I then use a Microsoft365 Power Automate flow that runs every few hours that analyses the emails in my email and sends out a summary of the key changes that my users are interested in.The whole thing works quite nicely for what I need and is far more customisable than what I can currently get out of the box with Bynder. Hello Bynder RnD Team, For Media Audit purpose, we would like to preserve Bynder System taxonomy ‘watermark date’ once watermark is applied from ‘Advanced Rights’ section.At least, watermark date assigned by our business stakeholders should have been visible from bynder API /media/. Hi Team,Good day!I have a question regarding workflow and its related metadata properties based on a scenario I encountered while working on a project.Scenario Details:A new workflow job has been created, specific to one request. The job involves two assets: Asset 1: Front (view of the front page). Asset 2: Back (view of the back page). Metadata properties: Count 5: Common metadata properties for both assets. Count 3: Metadata properties with different values for each asset (e.g., color). Challenge:I understand the limitation where metadata properties in a workflow job are applied uniformly to all assets. When assets are sent to the "Assets" space in Bynder, the same metadata values are assigned to both assets, making it impossible to differentiate values for shared metadata properties within the same job.Request:I’d like to explore alternative approaches to meet this requirement, such as:Modifications or configurations within the current workflow to allow different metadata values

Hello,For people who use their DAM on their CMS, I'd like to know how you identify linked assets.What would be interesting would be to have information on the image telling us that this asset is linked. A bit like the text box that appears on the thumbnail of an archived or limited image.We could have information like this: “online” “web”...What do you think?This way, we know that the image is online, and perhaps avoid unwanted deletion. 

As a content owner from Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services, I want to be able to download all my content in mass so we can track, use and share at our will. This is Strongly needed.

We currently use gather content for our content workflows and would like to integrate with AEM Cloud for content integration. I don’t see any connector details in the documentation and its availability. Does anyone know if the connector is available for AEM Cloud?

A potential client is looking in to using bynder, and i have been asked to look at the plugin for content workflow and see if its viable for there current website. And have a couple of question, and hopefully someone could shed some light on them for me please.As all the content ( posts )is currently on the site, is there a way to import all this into bynder on initial set up?With the ACF field selection the plugin offers, will this work if field groups have been created pragmatically in code( PHP )? ie acf_add_local_field_group or do they have to be created in the UI of ACF.Any help would be greatly receivedMany Thanks

Can someone share with me a real life example of how webhooks is used? The documentation seems like you can send an alert to a system about assets being uploaded, but you can’t send alerts about specific assets? Thank you

Description of issue: Open a Bynder PDF that has links embedded, the links do not open in new window, but do if document is original on computer. So expected behavior is not the same once loaded in Bynder and shared using asset link viewing in browser. Issues when opening a link on page 20 of PDF, then having to hit back button to get back to Bynder PDF doc and it starts at the top of the document vs if PDF ink opened in new browser window, the PDF reading place on page doesn’t change and user can continue reading easily, clicking on links related to subject area of document.Simply, can you automatically have PDF links open in new window.Thank you so much.

A few questions:Is there a Bynder connector that can use Google Cloud Platform as the middleware? I have some properties I need to fill out in the PIM system I want to connect to.  it’s asking for the “Client ID” and the “Client Secret”?  Can anyone explain what these properties are and where I might find the values for them?Thanks!

I am currently using Bynder API (/api/v4/media/) to retrieve assets and save the information into our system. But I cannot catch the images which were deleted in website because from what I saw, the assets will not return by API when it was deleted in website. So, I would like to know how I can catch those deleted images by API.
