Hi Bynder community!We are piloting an Ask Me Anything series with Bynder leaders and subject matter experts. The goal is to provide you with more opportunities to engage with the Bynder community, hear directly from other customers and Bynder leadership, and share your ideas. Each time you start a new topic you will automatically be notified via email when that topic receives a reply.You can also subscribe to categories to make sure you don’t miss out on any new topics added.Open the category and then you’ll see a button that says Subscribe.To subscribe to a particular topic within the category, you will need to click the star icon at the bottom of the post that says Subscribe. Once you click it will turn blue to let you know that you are now subscribed. To unsubscribe you’ll just click the same Subscribe button, and it will then turn grey to let you know that you are no longer subscribed. You can find a list of the topics you are subscribed to by clicking on your profile image and selecting ‘Topics’This will show you how many topics you are subscribed to and a list of each one.
I frequently get asked the question - What’s the difference between a Question and a Conversation? I thought I’d take a moment to shed some light on the topic. If you are looking for best practices on further creating a topic, check out this post. Create Question posts - for when you have a Question that needs an answerAsk yourself, does your question require an answer? If so, you will want to create a question. You will later be asked to select a ‘Best Answer’ for your question. This is important because it helps us understand if you have the information you need to succeed. Create Conversation posts - for when you want to share something or start a discussionHave a cool use case story you want to share with us? An integration or connect ecosystem discussion that would be meaningful to share? If you are looking to share something or start a discussion, creating a conversation is the right route here.
In order to send a new private message you must go to the users profile and click the button ‘Send message”To find our previously sent messages and conversations you click on your profile image icon in the top right corner of the page and click the ‘Private messages’ folder.
You can control the email notifications you receive from the Community, to ensure you see what matters most to you. 💌General settings for notifications You receive notifications of topics or categories which you have selected as Favorites. Topics you have started are set as Favorites by default, but you can change this in the settings on your Profile page:Note: This will not unsubscribe you when you have subscribed to an entire category. You have the option to subscribe or unsubscribe in each category. Notifications for specific topics You can follow an individual topic by clicking the Follow Topic button at the bottom of the post.
When you see a topic or a comment you think needs to be reported, click the three dots on the bottom right of a post, and click on "Flag": Why should a post be reported? If it contains any of the following:Spam Advertisement Soliciting Harassment Private information (Email address, phone number, etc.) Any other content which is in conflict with our Terms & Conditions.If you’re uncertain whether or not you should report a topic or a comment, flag it so a Moderator can review it as soon as possible and will decide further steps, if necessary.
If you made a mistake while writing your post or need to add more information, you can edit the post. Go to the post you want to change. Hover your mouse over the three dots on the right bottom corner, and click on "Edit":Note: If you’re unable to edit a post and need information removed (such as personal information), flag the post for a Moderator. If you need to add info and can’t edit the post, make a comment on the post.
Want to share photos or videos? Upload imagesYou can upload images to your post by clicking on the small camera icon in the text editor: All common file formats for images are supported (.png, .jpg, .gif)When you upload your image file, it will automatically embed into your post. You can move it by hovering over the image and clicking on the [+] icon that appears at the top left corner of the image, then dragging the image to the correct line in the post. Embed videos Adding videos to your post can be done by clicking on the ellipses icon in the text editor:And then select “Embed Media” from the menu that appears. You can add videos from Youtube, Vimeo ,and Dailymotion by pasting the original video url.

Here’s how:Tip: Try searching first to see if your question is being discussed in an already existing topic.Finding the right place for your topicFirst, you will have to select the correct category your question is related to. If your question is about using ShootProof, photography, or business strategies, then start a new topic in +Create a New TopicOnce you are in the right category and board, you can simply click on "Create a topic!" next to your profile picture:Choose if your topic is a question or a conversation Decide if your topic is a question or a conversation. A conversation is a normal discussion topic. If you make your topic a question, you can mark a reply from another user as the answer. This will help other users who are having the same question to find the solution quicker.Create a titleNext define a title for your topic - choose a title which is short but descriptive. It should summarize what your topic is about: include the name of t
