Mass Uploader - automating file explorer scraping via Excel

Hi all,I have recently started using Bynder and have been working with our business teams to migrate older assets. To streamline this process and avoid the need for navigating through file explorer and all the subfolders, or asking for help running PowerShell. I developed an Excel based tool that offers the following functionalities:Automatically scans all designated subfolders and extracts file names along with their folder paths. Identifies and highlights duplicate file names. Enables users to manually select and move desired files to a mass uploader tab. Facilitates the addition of appropriate metadata to assets through dynamic dropdown boxes. Generates a .csv file for upload at the push of a button.It’s a little slow when it has to scroll through a lot of subfolders, but a lot faster than doing it manually!While this solution is not perfect, it has proven to be helpful for our business units so far. Please note that this tool relies on VBA and must be opened in the Excel applicatio

Text formatting from Word to an item

Hi,I want to paste text from a word document into an item so that I can then copy-paste content from the item into a Drupal page. My question is: If I copy-paste text with links from a word document into an item inside a text field, will additional HTML from word be imported with that too or would that be removed/formatted?The word doc has lots of links and I wouldn’t want to readd them manually in the item. But I just want to make sure that this automatic action doesn’t add “rubbish” html from word to the item and then to the Drupal page.  Thanks!

Who to contact about trouble with the Bynder Plug-in for Wordpress?

Hey Bynder Community,     I am at the start of rolling out Bynder to my entire companies creatives, executives, and sales teams. A real tough spot has been getting support from the “support@bynder.com” and success team. I’m on  a time crunch and they just haven’t responded to our issue we put in early this week.The issue: Currently, we have hit a roadblock with my dev team setting up the bynder plugin on our companies website. When they try to set up the integration, they get a message “No integrations yet, please contact customer success manager.” I have two questions.Is there a way to put this in place ourselves? How can I figure out who my customer success manager is?I’m not sure if it is the guy who has responded back to previous e-mails to the customer-success e-mail or if I should be looking for someone else. I am currently just waiting for responses from the support and success e-mails and its not going over well with management.  Thank you all.

Is there a standard boilerplate for DAM privacy policies? Is there one specific to healthcare? I aim to involve our legal department but wanted to find out first if “they’re basically all the same.”

The peer-to-peer connection program aims to provide a space where Bynder peers can connect virtually and share resources, knowledge, and support. To ensure a smooth experience for all participants, we have established the following cancellation policy. Notification of Cancellation:All cancellations must be communicated via the program’s designated communication channels (e.g., email, calendar invite, directly to the Community Manager) Participants are encouraged to notify their peers and the Community Manager as soon as they decide to cancel.Cancellation Window:Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session. Your calendar invite gives you full edit rights. How to: Favorite (subscribe to) content and get notified about new topics or new replies in the thread.

Each time you start a new topic you will automatically be notified via email when that topic receives a reply.You can also subscribe to categories to make sure you don’t miss out on any new topics added.Open the category and then you’ll see a button that says Subscribe.To subscribe to a particular topic within the category, you will need to click the star icon at the bottom of the post that says Subscribe. Once you click it will turn blue to let you know that you are now subscribed. To unsubscribe you’ll just click the same Subscribe button, and it will then turn grey to let you know that you are no longer subscribed. You can find a list of the topics you are subscribed to by clicking on your profile image and selecting ‘Topics’This will show you how many topics you are subscribed to and a list of each one.

I frequently get asked the question - What’s the difference between a Question and a Conversation? I thought I’d take a moment to shed some light on the topic. If you are looking for best practices on further creating a topic, check out this post. Create Question posts - for when you have a Question that needs an answerAsk yourself, does your question require an answer? If so, you will want to create a question. You will later be asked to select a ‘Best Answer’ for your question. This is important because it helps us understand if you have the information you need to succeed. Create Conversation posts - for when you want to share something or start a discussionHave a cool use case story you want to share with us? An integration or connect ecosystem discussion that would be meaningful to share? If you are looking to share something or start a discussion, creating a conversation is the right route here.

You can control the email notifications you receive from the Community, to ensure you see what matters most to you. 💌General settings for notifications You receive notifications of topics or categories which you have selected as Favorites. Topics you have started are set as Favorites by default, but you can change this in the settings on your Profile page:Note: This will not unsubscribe you when you have subscribed to an entire category. Want to share photos or videos?   Upload imagesYou can upload images to your post by clicking on the small camera icon in the text editor: All common file formats for images are supported (.png, .jpg, .gif)When you upload your image file, it will automatically embed into your post. You can move it by hovering over the image and clicking on the [+] icon that appears at the top left corner of the image, then dragging the image to the correct line in the post.  Embed videos Adding videos to your post can be done by clicking on the ellipses icon in the text editor:And then select “Embed Media” from the menu that appears. You can add videos from Youtube, Vimeo ,and Dailymotion by pasting the original video url.
