Hi all,I have recently started using Bynder and have been working with our business teams to migrate older assets. To streamline this process and avoid the need for navigating through file explorer and all the subfolders, or asking for help running PowerShell. I developed an Excel based tool that offers the following functionalities:Automatically scans all designated subfolders and extracts file names along with their folder paths. Identifies and highlights duplicate file names. Enables users to manually select and move desired files to a mass uploader tab. Facilitates the addition of appropriate metadata to assets through dynamic dropdown boxes. Generates a .csv file for upload at the push of a button.It’s a little slow when it has to scroll through a lot of subfolders, but a lot faster than doing it manually!While this solution is not perfect, it has proven to be helpful for our business units so far. I’d like to know how other users manage copy editing for a new long-form asset like a whitepaper. The Bynder workflow does not allow users to mark up edits in a Word doc using Track Changes, it only lets you add a brief comment to a ”picture” of the Word doc. When I’m creating a long-form asset like a whitepaper, I need reviewers to be able to open the Word doc and leave line-by-line edits using Track Changes. I need multiple people to collaborate and discuss edits in the Word doc. How are you handling this? Does everyone just do all the copy review/approval outside Asset Hub before you even start to create the new asset in Asset Hub? 

Hello! A lot of our sales reps send emails through Bynder but customers are not able to respond to those emails. Is there a feature that allows responses to emails through Bynder to go back to the person that sent them? Thanks so much for the help!

Hi,I want to paste text from a word document into an item so that I can then copy-paste content from the item into a Drupal page. My question is: If I copy-paste text with links from a word document into an item inside a text field, will additional HTML from word be imported with that too or would that be removed/formatted?The word doc has lots of links and I wouldn’t want to readd them manually in the item. But I just want to make sure that this automatic action doesn’t add “rubbish” html from word to the item and then to the Drupal page.  Thanks!

Hey Bynder Community,     I am at the start of rolling out Bynder to my entire companies creatives, executives, and sales teams. A real tough spot has been getting support from the “support@bynder.com” and success team. I’m on  a time crunch and they just haven’t responded to our issue we put in early this week.The issue: Currently, we have hit a roadblock with my dev team setting up the bynder plugin on our companies website. When they try to set up the integration, they get a message “No integrations yet, please contact customer success manager.” I have two questions.Is there a way to put this in place ourselves? How can I figure out who my customer success manager is?I’m not sure if it is the guy who has responded back to previous e-mails to the customer-success e-mail or if I should be looking for someone else. I am currently just waiting for responses from the support and success e-mails and its not going over well with managem

Is there a standard boilerplate for DAM privacy policies? Is there one specific to healthcare? I aim to involve our legal department but wanted to find out first if “they’re basically all the same.”

Each time you start a new topic you will automatically be notified via email when that topic receives a reply.You can also subscribe to categories to make sure you don’t miss out on any new topics added.Open the category and then you’ll see a button that says Subscribe.To subscribe to a particular topic within the category, you will need to click the star icon at the bottom of the post that says Subscribe. Once you click it will turn blue to let you know that you are now subscribed. To unsubscribe you’ll just click the same Subscribe button, and it will then turn grey to let you know that you are no longer subscribed. You can find a list of the topics you are subscribed to by clicking on your profile image and selecting ‘Topics’This will show you how many topics you are subscribed to and a list of each one.

Hi Everyone,It's nice to see so many of you joining our Community!! The launch of the Bynder Community is especially exciting because it's a direct result of your feedback. From the first Bynder Roundtable I attended in San Francisco in 2018, to the many customers I have had the opportunity to talk with, we consistently hear that you want to connect with other Bynder customers to learn and collaborate. We are happy to have run programs like Bynder Buddies and events like our Roundtables to help make those connections but the launch of the Community gives you an always-on ability to connect with your peers and the Bynder team to share your experiences, best practices and questions as you all strive to deliver exceptional content experiences. I'm looking forward to connecting, learning and sharing with all of you.
