We need the ability for Bynder to process video assets and perform the following:people recognition (face detection), integrated with people already detected in image assets object detection - eg there is a dog or frog in this video text detection - eg there is a sign on a building, the AI should OCR that sign’s textAll of these are current features in your competitor’s products. I should be able to search for “cat” and Bynder should recognize that object in image and video assets.Ideally the system would allow me to perform a natural language search like “an arial shot of a city with skyscrapers, blue sky and mountains”. Or “an image with a dog and a cat”.These searches must be cross domain - so finds in image assets, video assets, and other document (eg PDF).

Team,We attempted to adopt Bynder Compact View v5 to unblock our asset selector and align with our React 19 upgrade. The NPM/Yarn packages appear broken () or incompatible with React 19 (), and even the official demo and the script served from Bynder’s CDN produce failure. Specifically, the UI displays an “empty” label in the select box next to the “Add asset” button, and the “Add asset” button itself is not clickable.We were unable to locate links to previous v5 releases to roll back to a known-good build. This leaves us without a viable integration path and is currently blocking our upgrade plan.What we triedVerified behavior against Bynder’s official demo and the script provided on their site (https://ucv.bynder.com/5.0.5/modules/compactview/bynder-compactview-5-latest.js).
