For people who use their DAM on their CMS, I'd like to know how you identify linked assets.
What would be interesting would be to have information on the image telling us that this asset is linked. A bit like the text box that appears on the thumbnail of an archived or limited image.
We could have information like this: “online” “web”...
What do you think?
This way, we know that the image is online, and perhaps avoid unwanted deletion.

+1If we are using it on a website, we have two routes. First: just tag it with the website URL, and check tags before deletion or other status changes. Second route is to check your delivery analytics on the asset; that can tell you which sites its being served to, if you are using CDN links.

Perhaps I've misspoken my request.
In fact, my request was for a visual indication directly on the asset thumbnail. In order to have direct visibility of its online use (as in the example I posted).
This way, we can identify what's online visually and immediately, and we could sort them according to whether they're online or not.
+2In general, more control over the thumbnail overlay tags would be amazing. I think we should be able to choose 1-4 metaproperties to have overlay tags, and be able to choose their color.
