Hi Bynder,We need to restrict the download of PSD file types by group, BUT allow that same group to download their derivatives. Currently, DAM Bynder offers the option to restrict the “Download of original files,” but this applies to all assets, not just specific ones. The problem with restricting access for everyone is that those same groups would not be able to download the original PDF format, for example, which does not have a derivative version. We need a custom development in Fluidra DAM Bynder that restricts only the download of the original version of a specific file type—for example, PSD-format assets—while allowing the download of their derivatives.The current workflow is to convert and duplicate the original assets into derivatives at the time of upload or sharing, but this creates duplicates, requires manual workflows, and causes issues with restrictions and visibility.

We have dozens of guidelines that are the single source of truth for a lot of company guidance. We would like our company AI tools (Copilot and ChatGPT) to be able to access the guidelines. Has anyone had any luck with this this? Perhaps through API calls or an MCP server?

With the addition of Print PDFs in Studio can we also make sure we can use CMYK colors and have artboards be measured in inches (and centimeters). And lastly, can we have more ability to organize and separate templates (currently they just list as newest on top which is totally not helpful for finding things!), we should be able to list them alpha or by sub categories. Thanks!

Is it just me or would having more capability to organize how your template categories show up in the module be helpful? I find it super frustrating they only list by order they are created, they should at least be able to be sorted alpha so a user can find what they need more readily. Currently the templates are not listed in a way where options related to each other are near each other and there’s no simple way for people to find things since it is random. All these advanced filtering options, yet still no ability to search or filter by file size.I’ve submitted this suggestion again on the development boards—if you see value in this feature, please consider giving it an upvote.If you have a workaround, please let me know.It’s been a must-have for us for several years now, and we’re still waiting to see progress here. 

Would it be much work to have an autofocus on metaproperty fields once you clicked on them? It would just make the experience so much faster, when entering metadata. I mean both in the multi edit fields but also the single asset edit.I find it mildly infuriating that once I click a metaproperty I have to click on the input field to start typing.For me this would a non issue that just is, but maybe that’s just me, would anyone else like this?

With the addition of Print PDFs to studio we can now make templates meant for printing in Studio. But to make that work we really need to be able to set the templates by inches and centimeters. Please make it possible to set the size of the template with inches/cm’s so we can properly build them, thanks!

We are currently reviewing the native Bynder–Salesforce integration and its capabilities for asset performance tracking within Salesforce.After reviewing the documentation and integration manual shared by your team, we do not see asset performance metrics such as downloads, views, or usage being natively available inside Salesforce.Could you please let us know: Is it possible to track asset performance metrics such as downloads, views, or usage inside Salesforce? If there are any reference architectures, limitations, or considerations we should be aware of (for example, API rate limits, supported metrics, or data freshness)? Hi all,I wanted to open a discussion around the usability of template descriptions in the editor.Right now, the description is only visible when opening a template. Do you think it would be useful to have access to it at any point during editing? For example, through a dedicated section, tooltip, or a collapsible panel within the editor?From my perspective, having the description always accessible could be a helpful reference — especially for more complex templates or when guidelines and instructions are important to follow.I’m curious:Do others run into the same limitation? How do you currently handle this while editing? Would a persistent or easily accessible description improve your workflow?Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Request regarding related assets. We work quite a lot with related assets, and several users have asked about the option to select all related assets to either download, share or create a collection. Is this something you have looked into - or plan to look into? /Caroline 

As a suggestion for improvement and innovation regarding the modules, we would like to note that, for the Workflows module, the asset approval system currently works for images that do not contain text or do not require zooming in to view details. As an area for improvement, it would be ideal to have the option to zoom in to the original size or a “magnifying glass” feature that allows users to view the content within the image in detail. Currently, if teams want to validate the text in an image, they must download the asset, view it, and approve it there. Thank you very much, Team. Hi Bynder team,I have a collcection that I publicly shared with my level 1 user colleagues. As they all have a Bynder account, they are automatically logged in and therefore cannot download the assets.  It would be great if there was a way to select which assets they can download without them having to use an incognito window.  Looking forward to a soon implementation.  KR,Johannes

Hello,I have a problem with the Bynder API to update an asset metaproperty of type text.I am able to update the name, the description and the select-type metaproperties. But i cannot update my text-type metaproperty. I try :{‘metaproperty.id’: ‘my text’} {‘metaproperty_name’: ‘my text’}Both return a 202 response : “{"message":"Accepted","statuscode":202}” but the asset is not updated.When I try :       {‘name’: ‘Mon document’, ‘metaproperty.id’: ‘my text’}Only the name is updated. Somebody, I have an idea ? 

Hi everyone! has anyone had experience integrating Bynder with Microsoft Copilot or looked into it? Curious to hear what worked, what didn’t, and any tips you’d be willing to share.

Question for Bynder.. would it be too much to ask to let us select month or year in the date/range picker in advanced filters, instead of click on the arrows to get to a certain month or year..you now use at least 3 different kind of date pickers.this one in the advanced filters  this one for publication date which is better because you click on the month and get to the year: And a similar one in the Analytics which is also better then the one in advanced filters. My suggestion is, pick the one of the last 2 and ditch the one now in advanced filters.​​​​​​​I hope I am not the only one in this. 

I am currently pouring through all the analytics data. But what I found is something that I don’t think is correct in the advanced analytics.And I am specifically talking about the User analytics. Hopefully someone at Bynder can explain the rationale behind how and why it’s measured this way.So we have these figures for this month. feb 2026Now if I go back a month, and the total amount of users has changed, since there have been users added and deleted, but it isn’t reflected here. jan 2026If I go back even further the user amount stays the same. Which in turn would change the percentages every month. so I could go back as far as 2018. jan 2018The problem I have with this is that the percentages don’t match the month and year I am looking at. So I have no way of knowing what has changed, is it getting better is it getting worse. If you’re not diligent enough to save the data at the end of the month, you have proper data, but now it constantly changes. Maybe that’s the idea behind it. B

Hi all,I know that currently it’s not possible to automatically trigger other taxonomy selections based on one chosen option, but I wanted to ask whether this would be useful for others as well.For example:If a user selects optinion A at one metaproperty XX,it would automatically trigger selecting other selected options at metaproperty YY .We would benefit from it in use cases where the logic is always the same, and it could help reduce manual steps and avoid inconsistencies.Would this kind of dependency / automation between taxonomy fields be valuable for your teams too?Curious to hear if we’re the only ones who would benefit from this 😊

Hi everyone,We’re trying to simplify how our Sales team shares images taken on their iPhones. Due to heavy tagging requirements and general unfamiliarity with the tool, using the Bynder web interface feels like a lot of extra work (opening a browser, clicking through multiple steps), which slows adoption.At a minimum, we need to capture: Image Location taken Product name Ideally, Sales could submit images quickly (with minimal data entry), and our team would enrich metadata later in the Bynder Waiting Room.We’re considering a few options (Bynder app, email intake, or SharePoint upload), but each has challenges around keeping the image and metadata together when pushing assets into Bynder.Questions: Has anyone implemented a lightweight, mobile-friendly intake workflow for Sales or field teams? Have you successfully used email, SharePoint, Power Automate, or another tool as a front door into Bynder? Any tips or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

We use presets and they are fab when uploaded. However it would be great to be able make a preset from the original asset already in the system.So for example I have a video asset already in the system and I want to upload a new version in another langauge, I’d like to upload this new asset but base it off an assets already in the system This would be such a great feature to have!

Hi People!I’m creating ads on different kind of platforms like reddit, linkedin, etc for our company.Often we struggle with providing the asset and count the rare amount of downloads on our website due to the GDPR.I was wondering if it's possible within bynder share to simply create a download link, put it in the ad and somehow can be notified or count in bynder how many people used the download? I don’t care about the lead information like name etc - the total amount of downloads would be enough for me in most cases.Looking forward to your ideas :)Cheers!

Would the Bynder Product Team be open to considering the development of a share-link feature for Collection Groups, specifically the ability to edit link permissions for private (non-public) use?This functionality currently exists for Collections but not for Collection Groups.
