Connect Brand Portal for Compact View not working in WordPress

Hi,

I am working on a staging site (which is password protected at the moment) for a new news site. I am trying to test Bynder and made a new OAuth app similar to our existing live sites (berkeleyside.org, oaklandside.org), however when making a test post and tyring to access our Bynder assests via the compact view, the “enter your domain” field is disabled.

I registered a new app in Bynder OAuth settings and added the domain there, and added the new clientID and secret to the WP settings page for Bynder, but that did not work. I read all the knowldege base articles I coudl find. I am wondering if this is because of the password protection on the staging site. Any ideas?

I can’t enter anything in that field.

In case it’s useful for others I am posting this from the Support ticket “We had a conflict with another plugin (Sticky blocks) and disabling it allows the integration to work on the post editor via the Compact view.”

Thanks for your question @cityside tech! I believe the best way to help you is to send this over to Support as ticket. They will need to ask a few questions to troubleshoot.

Hi Ryanne,

I wasn’t sure where to create a support ticket. It seems more of us are having this issue in Wordpress.

@cityside tech you are welcome to send a note to support@bynder.com to open a support ticket. That said, I do see a ticket in the system regarding Wordpress that also includes Francisco Nieto from your side. Are you familiar with the that ticket (#212867)?

Yes, I am. I made it and forgot about it. sorry!
