Asset Performance Metrics in Salesforce Integration

We are currently reviewing the native Bynder–Salesforce integration and its capabilities for asset performance tracking within Salesforce.

After reviewing the documentation and integration manual shared by your team, we do not see asset performance metrics such as downloads, views, or usage being natively available inside Salesforce.

Could you please let us know:

  • Is it possible to track asset performance metrics such as downloads, views, or usage inside Salesforce?

  • If there are any reference architectures, limitations, or considerations we should be aware of (for example, API rate limits, supported metrics, or data freshness)?

  • Whether there are any roadmap plans or upcoming enhancements to expose asset performance analytics directly within Salesforce?

Thank you in advance for your support. We look forward to your guidance and recommendations.

Hi @rineshrajan :)

The Bynder Salesforce integration allows users to access governed, system-of-record content directly within Salesforce workflows (including Marketing Cloud, B2C Commerce, and core platforms) to speed up campaign creation and ensure brand consistency. This enables teams to easily search for and insert approved assets, allowing for personalized, data-driven content experiences across all channels.

It’s not built to send Bynder analytics to be used in salesforce reporting or fields. For teams needing external-facing metrics (e.g., how many times a customer viewed or downloaded an asset), Bynder's Analytics API can fetch search executions, asset views, and download events. This data could then be piped into Salesforce via a custom script/integration.

Could you tell me more about what you’re looking to achieve by having performance metrics natively in Salesforce? For now, it doesn’t look like we have any active roadmap items on this but I’d be happy to pass this along to our product team.
