I wanted to open a discussion around the usability of template descriptions in the editor.
Right now, the description is only visible when opening a template. Do you think it would be useful to have access to it at any point during editing? For example, through a dedicated section, tooltip, or a collapsible panel within the editor?
From my perspective, having the description always accessible could be a helpful reference — especially for more complex templates or when guidelines and instructions are important to follow.
I’m curious:
- Do others run into the same limitation?
- How do you currently handle this while editing?
- Would a persistent or easily accessible description improve your workflow?
