How does Bynder fit into your digital strategy?

I often hear customers talking about the challenge of keeping up with the growing demands for content that's resulted from the increasing number of channels and end user touch points where content is delivered. Not to mention, consumers continue to have higher expectations for personalized, relevant content, which complicates this even more. Many of them are conquering this chaos and complexity through efforts to scale their content operations and through an API-connected ecosystem to automate content distribution to speed up their time to market.I always love hearing from our customers about how Bynder is enabling commerce and helping you deliver exceptional content experiences. Why don't I receive a notification before I exceed my license limit?

 To provide a better experience for my colleagues using Bynder, I wanted to provide an update in advance on how many licenses we have left. Can I receive a notification whenever we are reaching the limit?

Support Tab on Login

Hi. Can someone explain the Support Tab on the login page, we are testing it out and Admin has not received any notifications. Is this tab for Bynder Support or Admin Support? Sorry I have not been able to find any topics on this. This would be awesome for a user to request an account. Right now users are going to our IT dept.

What you really need to know before your kick off with Bynder

As an Onboarding Manager, I work with a lot of teams in setting up their portals from the ground up. While we do make Onboarding as easy and even enjoyable as possible, it's also a collaborative effort between us and the client. As we always say--we will be the expert on all things Bynder, and your team will have to show up as the expert in all things related to your own assets, data, and restrictions.After a couple of years of working with clients day in and day out, here's what I've learned about what they should know and prepare for even before their kick off call:  Audit your assets. Even a quick audit of your assets would be helpful prior to starting your Onboarding process--just to give you an idea of what assets you have. This will later on help you determine what assets you want to keep in Bynder, and what assets could be stored elsewhere if needed. Knowing what assets you have will also give you a leg up in determining possible metadata and restrictions about your assets! Fi

Hi there - I’m Catherine and I lead our US Bynder Success Squad. We get a lot of questions about how DAM compares to file-sharing solutions like Dropbox, Google Drive, and Box. What do I put in my taxonomy?

In onboarding, we love helping new Bynder clients to build their taxonomy. But if you are out of onboarding, or want to update your taxonomy with your changing business, it can be hard to know where to start. Changing from a folder structure to a taxonomy for organizing your assets has a great many advantages, but it can be a big conceptual shift.  You do not need any special knowledge or training to build a good solid taxonomy. You know your business, and how you refer to your assets internally. Ask yourself and your users: how do I want to search for these assets?  A taxonomy does not have to be complicated! You are not recreating the Getty Art and Architecture Thesaurus. We’ve seen plenty of successful portals with 10 to 20 metaproperties – the thing to do is choose the metaproperties that capture the information that is most important to your core business.  Below are some ideas for common Bynder metaproperties and metaproperties by use case to get you started.  If you have any uni

DAM and cloud storage - how are they different? How do they work together?

DAM plus cloud storage. Is it one or the other? Or is it greater than the sum of its parts?  This article highlights a few key differences between DAM and cloud storage solutions (like Google Drive, Box, or Dropbox). A few items stood out to me to differentiate the two: Focus- I love this: “Cloud storage primarily focuses on the user, while a DAM system focuses more on the assets themselves”. With cloud storage, the user defines most of the sharing and rights, naming, etc. but DAM puts the asset at the center: based on data about your assets, the right people automatically have the right access.  Metadata- With DAM, the structured application of data about your assets allows for more flexibility in searching, greater insights about the assets you actually have (and use), and easier content management. Metadata also allows you to link and relate assets that are otherwise lost to each other, saving time and money to reproduce content you might already have on hand.  Automation - Because

Queensland Health leveraging Bynder during Covid-19
