I’d like to know how other users manage copy editing for a new long-form asset like a whitepaper. The Bynder workflow does not allow users to mark up edits in a Word doc using Track Changes, it only lets you add a brief comment to a ”picture” of the Word doc. When I’m creating a long-form asset like a whitepaper, I need reviewers to be able to open the Word doc and leave line-by-line edits using Track Changes. I need multiple people to collaborate and discuss edits in the Word doc. How are you handling this? Does everyone just do all the copy review/approval outside Asset Hub before you even start to create the new asset in Asset Hub?

Hi,

From what I understand, DAM systems are mostly meant for managing and showcasing finalized assets. Based on what you’re describing, it sounds like you might need more of a workflow tool that handles live document edits and collaboration. In cases like this, we do the editing outside of Bynder and only upload the final version once it's approved.
