Hi y’all!
I’m Brett, and I am on the Customer Experience team, focusing on customer education and webinars here at Bynder. I’ve been with the organization for a total of about 8.5 years, although I did start on the Webdam platform, which was later acquired by Bynder.
Fun fact about me...while I have spent most of my career under the umbrella of Customer Success (I was a Customer Success Manager and Enterprise Onboarding Manager), I originally started on the sales team as a Sales Development Rep prospecting accounts.
I am so excited to learn from each and every one of y’all! If you ever have any suggestions or ideas for customer education pieces or webinars, please let me know!
Hi everyone!
I'm Anne, and I am on the Onboarding Team at Bynder. I help clients get on the Bynder platform and configure the bits and bobs to make the portal work for their various use cases. I also train DAM Admins so they know how to manage their portal post-Implementation.
A fun fact about me is that I used to work in Sales & Marketing, so I would have been a Bynder end-user in my previous career! That’s actually what attracted me to Bynder, is thinking, “This would have been super useful at my old company!”
I’m excited to learn about our clients, and how Bynder has made their work days better! It would be nice to see how what we’ve built during Onboarding makes an impact on client teams’ work everyday.
Hi
Grace here! I am Bynder’s Sr. Director of Customer Experience, based in Boston. I’ve worn many hats here at Bynder, from onboarding to operations to partnerships- I’m so excited to build and grow our education, customer content, and community programs, and to learn from everyone here!
A fun fact about me - I spent two months driving across the US visiting national parks and camping. My favorite parts were seeing the Milky Way at night in Arches National Park and eating enchiladas at almost every meal in Santa Fe.
Feel free to reach out with any CX questions, or with ideas for our customer programming!
Hi! I’m Jez, and I am a librarian working in the DAM space for a large manufacturing corporation using Bynder as our DAM solution. Our DAM is functioning as a digital library that wears a variety of hats, not just for housing assets used in the promotion of goods and services for my company. Now that we are past implementation, we are defining our purpose and beginning to really leverage integrations and enhancing the (internal) customer experience. I’d be thrilled to talk about how you are integrating systems with Bynder, and what API solutions/resources you have, and tips and tricks on how you customize Bynder to enhance user experience. I am also interested in the various ways that people use their taxonomies and folksonomies, and any Solr hacks you’ve discovered.
I’ve been in library and information science for 22 years, have been an academic science and engineering librarian, a library director, developed and run an information management program for a government agency, and I am now building our DAM program. I live in Idaho and love to be outdoors. I garden and crochet, and read when I can get a moment’s peace and quiet.
I really like the Bynder team, and I’m excited to get involved with the community and better learn how to maximize the potential of the system.
Hi all - my name is Caroline, I work as a DAM manager for Arla Foods in Denmark.
Arla Foods is one of the biggest dairy companies in Europe - you might know some of our brands (Lurpak, Melkunie, Cravendale, Castello, Buko, and many, many more).
I have worked for Arla for more than 20 years - the last 2½ I have spend all my working hours on building and maintaining our DAM (called the Arla Asset Farm….), including training our users, etc. I am an one-woman-army - plenty of tasks to take care of. We are present in many countries around the world - and our DAM system is for all employees and external partners, no matter where you are based!
I live in Copenhagen - I love traveling, cooking, baking, reading and much, much more.
Hi, @Caroline! I LOVE that you call your DAM the Arla Asset Farm. That’s excellent! Welcome!
My name is Walker I’m the Art Director for CaliFloors.com a lifestyle flooring manufacturer based in San Diego. I’ve been with Cali for 12 years now and before Bynder, we used Flickr Pro to manage all of our digital assets. So far I’m very impressed with the workflow and search functionality within Bynder and I’m always open to new ideas or ways to use the system. We’re almost ready to roll out the platform to our company and I’d love to hear any lessoned learned around that exercise. And speaking of exercise, when I’m not tickling my keyboard you might find me playing pickup soccer in the park.

Hi Caroline! So lovely to see you at the Henry Stewart Conference yesterday. The Bynder team enjoyed catching up
I hope you found a nice West End show to attend, interested to hear which one you opted for in the end. Take care and safe travels back!
Hi all,
My name is Madeleine Rowe, Director of Customer Success for EMEA here at Bynder
I have been with Bynder for 5.5 years now, joining as the first CSM on the ground in our London office to now leading a wonderful team of CSM’s in London and Amsterdam.
I’ve had the privilege of partnering with well over 100 customers in my time here and one of my favourite things is seeing customers get together, exchange ideas and challenges and become inspired in the process. I am very excited to see the Bynder Community come to life!
Fun fact about me: I have skydived, yes that’s right I have jumped 14,000 feet out of an airplane. Equal parts terrifying and exhilarating!
Looking forward to getting to know all of you across the globe better.
Hi everyone! My name is Maura Glasheen and I'm a member of the US Bynder Success Squad, along with my 3 amazing colleagues. I've been with Bynder for almost a year and a half and my work is focused on assisting customers with their Bynder contract renewals, ensuring their future success!
A fun fact about me is I used to be on a bar trivia team that played every a week for years, and only came in first place a handful of times.
If your account is managed by the Squad, please don't hesitate to reach out to the team with any questions! You can contact us at Success-Squad@Bynder.com
Hi everyone! I’ve been active in the Community here but haven’ actually introduced myself yet. My name is Rob Faulds and I’m the Director of Customer Onboarding at Bynder I’ve been with Bynder for just over 4 years now and I’m based out of our Boston office.
When I joined the Bynder team, I started as an Onboarding Manager where I had the opportunity to work with our customers on getting their Bynder DAM up and running successfully. It’s amazing how much we continue to learn from our customers. As much as we’re the experts, we continue to learn from you every day. I’m really excited to see how this community can expand and grow our combined DAM knowledge with each other!
As a fun fact, my wife and I love to travel. It’s our passion. It all started in my college years when I spent just over a month living out of a camper van while traveling across New Zealand. It was an amazing experience!
Thanks!
Hi there!
My name is Kelsey Tsinzo, I am an Enterprise Customer Success Manager based out of the Boston area. I have been at Bynder for almost 5 years, and have worked with a variety of customers across many industries. Currently, I am managing some of our largest and most strategic customers, and work with them to help achieve their goals for DAM.
One of my favorite things to witness, is customers engaging and sharing their use cases, wins, challenges and processes with one another. I’m excited to see how this community platform will open the line of communication and increase our knowledge of DAM, both for our customers and the Bynder team. I’m looking forward to connecting with all of you!
A fun fact about me, I am a mother of two little girls, Eliza (3.5) and Tessa (8 months) - they keep me busy! Wouldn’t have it any other way.
Thanks!
Hi fam!
My name is Dean Paskos, I’m a Customer Onboarding Manager based out of the Boston office. I started at Bynder a year and a half ago and what an incredible year and a half it has been! I’m currently just returning from paternity leave but have been working with all types of clients in my time here. You may have heard my voice being used in the Digital Brand Template/Print Brand Template guides in the Onboarding DAM (and if not you should definitely check them out)!
When I’m not being a DAM extraordinaire, I’m typically chasing my little ones around the house OR working on my next big entrepreneurial adventure. On top of all of this, I enjoy reading (currently working through the Harry Potter series for the first time), cooking for my lovely family of 4 (spent some time at Johnson and Wales), or studying for my Nutrition Coach Certification!
Thanks everyone!
Hi Everyone,
I'm Lauren, Manager of the Onboarding, Americas here at Bynder. I've been with the organization for over five years, and I live about 30mins outside the Boston office.
Fun fact about me - Before Bynder, I worked for a startup company in Los Angeles that leveraged Bynder for marketing and product assets and worked as a Project Manager. The company is still a Bynder customer =)
I am excited to learn what is essential for our customer's long-term growth and success.
Hi all! If you’re reading this, I’m so glad you found yourselves in our wonderful community.
I’m Christina, a Customer Onboarding Manager based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’ve been with Bynder since January this year and have had a great time getting to know several customers across several use-cases and getting to share the knowledge. Think of me as your personal hype-person, prepping you to get excited to use your Bynder DAM!
A fun fact about me is I accidentally met Ricky Martin outside of a Starbucks in Puerto Rico once. It’s a long story, but I’ll be happy to share it if you ever want to hear my most embarrassing story
.
Thanks for being here!
Hi everyone, it's great to see so many folks in our community! Thank you for being here.
My name is Carey MacDonald, and I am a Principal Onboarding Manager for Strategic Accounts and Portal Audits here at Bynder. I’ve been with the company for a little over 7 years, and I live in Boston just across the harbor from the Boston office
.
I found my way into DAM (and Bynder) through my graduate program in library and information science and am an avid taxonomist
.
A fun fact about me is that I have something called grapheme-color synesthesia, meaning I involuntarily associate (or “see”) specific colors when I think about letters and numbers. For example, 3’s and E’s are always green and 7’s and L’s are always yellow
.
It’s an interesting way to perceive the world, and I have to think it’s one of the reasons why I love organizing and categorizing things!
Hi @jezmynne, I wanted to reach out and introduce myself as a fellow librarian also working in DAM (on the US Onboarding team here at Bynder); it is great to e-meet you!
I would love to know more about how you found your way into the discipline of digital asset management coming from a library and information science background? Folks always ask me!
(It’s fun to look back on because I started off in more “traditional” processing/cataloging positions in museums and archives but became increasingly fascinated by digital objects and digital libraries through my graduate program about 8 years ago.)
I particularly love designing taxonomies and learning about folksonomies, so your note about being interested in how people use schemas definitely resonated with me. What inspired you to seek out a faceted taxonomy like Bynder’s as opposed to a strictly folder- or keyword-based system?

Hi, Carey! Nice to meet you, as well! I love how when you whisper…. “I’m a librarian” all these other librarians come out of the DAM woodwork and say “Hi!” <3
TL;DR - I like technology tools and effective searching/information management
I knew from the minute I started graduate school in 2001 that I wanted to be all sorts of librarians during my career, so I intentionally bounced about to do different and challenging things. I’ve been in the library and information science industry for over 20 years, having started as an academic science librarian at Harvey Mudd College/Claremont Colleges. There, I did traditional reference and instruction, and collection development for math, computer science, engineering, and chemistry. When I left California for quieter pastures, I took a position as the director at the Portneuf Library in Chubbuck, Idaho. That was SO MUCH FUN and I really had a blast getting to make a space and enabling my superstars to succeed in a great community. But larger cities called, and we decided to move to the Big City of Boise. I took a job at the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) and built their Information Management program, where I managed Records, information management, and data governance. I was also the Knowledge Management Process Owner for ITD as they were an ITIL shop. I really loved working with all the tech in my career, and when I saw this opportunity about DAM, I knew it would be the most fun of all, and I was not wrong! I love the challenge of managing a system and building a program. I love enabling my staff to succeed and grow, and working with all the different tools in our tech stack to see how the DAM benefits/contributes. I take everything I learned from my experience as a teacher, reference librarian, director, information and knowledge manager to enable this business and these fine people to succeed, as quickly as possible. Of all of them, I love this work the best.
Bynder had been selected when I was hired, and they were maybe six months into the project when I was brought on. I did go out and review many other systems, but there were two things about Bynder that earned my loyalty - that taxonomy structure and Solr (well, and Kelsey, Tony, Matt, and all the great support folks). For me, simple labels just do not cut it, and our taxonomy reflects a complexity we are using to craft a specific user experience for each business group. Using the dependency function, we’ve customized the experience so our users see only those terms that relate to their work and their assets. We have five very different business units, so “bag” might be french fries, or it might be fertilizer, and neither business user wants to see both. I do not want to go hunting for things in folders; I can’t think of anything more frustrating when searching for information in typical business systems like SharePoint or OneDrive, and I greatly appreciate the “toss it in a bucket and let the taxonomy sort it out.” Using the sophisticated combination of filters and search, we can narrow into our assets pretty quickly for collections, reference assistance, and saved filters. And we use the heck out of Solr’s operators to manage the assets! I do look forward to the day that the search field has an advanced search option to help our novice searchers leverage boolean, especially with the Smart Filters. I’ve made simple keyword lists my whole computer life (iTunes, Photos, and Finder all have defined and controlled terms, as well as my recipe software), and I always want greater sophistication when searching in any of those things, so I am thrilled I can offer my assets that.
I’m so happy to connect! I am going to try to come to Boston for the user group meeting, and we should definitely talk about all the geeky things! <3
Hi all! My name is Nick Nguyen, I am a Customer Onboarding Manager out in San Diego. I recently moved down from the San Francisco Bay Area. I joined Bynder last year in November, so approaching a year now! During my time here thus far, I’ve worked with so many amazing customers in different industries with various use cases.
Funny enough, before joining Bynder I had no prior knowledge of what DAM was or even its existence. However, now almost a year with Bynder I feel like a DAM expert! I’m always interested in seeing different ways customers are utilizing Bynder and their unique use cases.
Welcome everyone, and looking forward to interacting with you all!
Hi Everyone! I'm happy to join in on the conversations happening here in the Bynder Community!
My name is Taryn Woelfel and I am the Sr. Director of Onboarding, Americas here at Bynder - located in Boston. I've been with Bynder a little over 7 years at this point, and have been lucky enough to work on the DAM implementations of some very impressive brands over the years.
When I'm not building taxonomies and thinking about DAM, you can find me on the lake up in Maine or planning our next trip to one of the many US National Parks. My husband and I have hit quite a few so far, but are looking to continue the adventures with our daughter (5 months old!) in the next few years.
I'm excited to collaborate here with all folks using the Bynder DAM! If you have any Onboarding questions (or suggestions!) please reach out :)
Hi All! I’m Eoin, a Technical Support Engineer based out of Boston here at Bynder. I’ve been with Bynder for 7 months now, and WOW has it gone fast!
A bit about me, I’m a huge soccer fan and I’ve supported Manchester United since the age of five. The majority of my weekends (when in season) are spent watching EPL games, although I do catch the occasional game from other leagues. I would love to hear which other teams around the world people are supporting in our Community!
Hi all! I’m Brynlee, a Customer Onboarding Manager based in the Salt Lake City area, where I live with my husband and our two Ragdoll cats. I joined Bynder earlier this year and am super happy to be here!
I got into DAM kind of by accident—during my Library and Information Science graduate program (hi to my fellow librarians on this thread!), I initially focused my studies on archives, rare books, and other more traditional physical materials. My job during grad school was to help digitize these materials so they could be more freely available online, so I had a foot in both the physical and digital sides of librarianship. When covid hit about halfway through my program, I shifted entirely to managing digital file workflows for my department, and realized all the exciting possibilities (and new problems!) that digital assets presented. Soon after graduating, I began working as a DAM admin for a large e-commerce startup, and that’s where I was introduced to Bynder for the first time! I loved the way the platform used a taxonomy structure to efficiently capture a lot of information about specific assets, and I jumped at the opportunity to join the team here last summer.
When I’m not thinking about metadata, I love to read, knit, experiment with gluten-free baking, and think of new ways to entertain the cats. It’s great to see so many people in the Bynder Community and I’m excited to connect!
Hey all!
I’m Renee, a Senior Enterprise Onboarding Manager.
I had been working with the Bynder product for about 3 years and loved it so much, I became a Byndie myself a little over 1 year ago. I was really drawn to this growing company’s mission and values — and the work is perfect for me — I love helping people create efficiencies and solve DAM problems!
When working with Bynder on the customer side, I was part of the software selection team, the implementation team, and the asset migration work (mass uploader, media import as well as API processes - we did it all!). I was also involved with our integrations to SFCC, Adobe DAM/AEM, Wistia, and also a few custom built applications, including a pre-DATish solution that supported our SFCC-powered eComm site. It was a challenging environment where we were moving product data and assets to/from multiple platforms for multiple brands in multiple languages — a true digital ecosystem with Bynder at the center.
As a Bynder customer, I was involved in a customer round table event — and that really stood out to me as a example of Bynder’s commitment to Customer Success. I really loved connecting with other customers to discuss what they had going on — what they were challenged with and what they were successful with. Super inspiring! This community is a continuation of that round table and is available 24/7. I’m loving it — and helping to grow this resource for our customers is another shining example of how Byndies want to help our customers get the most out of our products.
In making the transition to becoming a full time Byndie, it was eye opening to see how much more there is to know / how much more you can do with your portal — you just don’t know what you don’t know! So, if I can give you advice — it’s to be engaged in your Bynder journey, keep searching in this community, keep asking questions and brainstorming … can you’s, what if’s or how to’s. You may uncover a key concept that will really drive your Bynder ROI or be the inspiration for a future product improvement. Let’s join forces — we can all benefit from the conversations had here in our community.
When I’m not thinking about DAM things, I love to boat, camp and play all kinds of games. I am based in Holland, Michigan with my husband and 3 daughters.
Hello! My name is Amy and I’m the Digital Platform Manager at HomeServe. Our company is based out of Connecticut, as well as other cities in the US and UK, but I work remotely from New York. I’ve been using Bynder at this company for 2 years now but I’ve worked with Bynder and DAM products for 11 years. At HomeServe, Bynder is our asset repository and also our CMS for publishing blog content.
I am always looking to improve and enhance our library, so I’m excited to see how others in this community use their portals and to what else (and how) it can be connected!
I love working in DAM! I have an organized collection tendency and since I can’t collect and keep things in my small Manhattan apartment, working in DAM allows me to be a “digital hoarder.” I can satisfy my “craving” for collecting and organizing things in the form of digital assets and data. Glad to be part of the community!
