Each time you start a new topic you will automatically be notified via email when that topic receives a reply.You can also subscribe to categories to make sure you don’t miss out on any new topics added.Open the category and then you’ll see a button that says Subscribe.To subscribe to a particular topic within the category, you will need to click the star icon at the bottom of the post that says Subscribe. Once you click it will turn blue to let you know that you are now subscribed. To unsubscribe you’ll just click the same Subscribe button, and it will then turn grey to let you know that you are no longer subscribed. You can find a list of the topics you are subscribed to by clicking on your profile image and selecting ‘Topics’This will show you how many topics you are subscribed to and a list of each one.

Hi everyone, I'm doing a session in November for Henry Stewart (hope to see some of you there). It's titled “The 15 metrics most critical to DAM success” - but let me tell you something between me, you, and the community: I don’t have all 15 nailed down yet!! I feel like there are so many to choose from, this will have to be a well curated list. So let me ask openly here: if you were me, what would your top 2-3 be?

I love DAM NYC so much! I already planned to go as an attendee but I just found out that I got a spot to participate in the Great DAM Bake-Off too. I remember seeing the Bake-Off when I was an in-house Digital Asset Manager back in 2015, and I liked it so much I organized an in-house bake-off for our vendor shortlist when we were choosing a DAM the next year. My session is on Sept 15th at 2:20, and there will be lots of other Bynder representation too (we’re a conference sponsor) so if you’re coming let us know and we can hang out.

There’s a lot of cool stuff on Bynder’s product roadmap. Let’s talk about it! I do appreciate the increased transparency around the product development this year, because I often have onboarding clients who want to know when the features they need will happen, but also because I just enjoy thinking about and using new features myself.  Anyway the in process roadmap item I’m most hype for is the integrations with Google Drive, Box and Dropbox. Tile for new cloud storage options: google drive, box, dropboxIf an onboarding client doesn’t already have another DAM, they almost always have Dropbox/Box/Drive and ask me if there’s an easy way to migrate assets from all their myriad folders into the DAM. One of the latest additions and big projects of Bynder is the launch of Dynamic Asset Transformations (DAT) next to the standard derivatives upon upload.  Did you know that DAT can be used across multiple integrations? Not just your CMS or website. I frequently get asked the question - What’s the difference between a Question and a Conversation? I thought I’d take a moment to shed some light on the topic. If you are looking for best practices on further creating a topic, check out this post. Create Question posts - for when you have a Question that needs an answerAsk yourself, does your question require an answer? If so, you will want to create a question. You will later be asked to select a ‘Best Answer’ for your question. This is important because it helps us understand if you have the information you need to succeed. Create Conversation posts - for when you want to share something or start a discussion

The launch of the Bynder Community is especially exciting because it's a direct result of your feedback. From the first Bynder Roundtable I attended in San Francisco in 2018, to the many customers I have had the opportunity to talk with, we consistently hear that you want to connect with other Bynder customers to learn and collaborate. We are happy to have run programs like Bynder Buddies and events like our Roundtables to help make those connections but the launch of the Community gives you an always-on ability to connect with your peers and the Bynder team to share your experiences, best practices and questions as you all strive to deliver exceptional content experiences. I'm looking forward to connecting, learning and sharing with all of you. We recently published this Bynder customer story for Queensland Health, a healthcare provider in the APAC region. It’s amazing to see the efficiencies and savings their team has introduced, but doubly inspiring is the speed of execution they achieved during critical Covid-19 moments. You can control the email notifications you receive from the Community, to ensure you see what matters most to you. 💌General settings for notifications You receive notifications of topics or categories which you have selected as Favorites. Topics you have started are set as Favorites by default, but you can change this in the settings on your Profile page:Note: This will not unsubscribe you when you have subscribed to an entire category. When you see a topic or a comment you think needs to be reported, click the three dots on the bottom right of a post, and click on "Flag": Why should a post be reported? If it contains any of the following:Spam Advertisement Soliciting Harassment Private information (Email address, phone number, etc.) Any other content which is in conflict with our Terms & Conditions.If you’re uncertain whether or not you should report a topic or a comment, flag it so a Moderator can review it as soon as possible and will decide further steps, if necessary.

If you made a mistake while writing your post or need to add more information, you can edit the post. Go to the post you want to change. Hover your mouse over the three dots on the right bottom corner, and click on "Edit":Note: If you’re unable to edit a post and need information removed (such as personal information), flag the post for a Moderator. If you need to add info and can’t edit the post, make a comment on the post.
