DAM
User impersonation
Portal administrators can now impersonate other users to view and use the platform as that user. This allows admins to reproduce reported issues, validate permissions, and test user-specific configurations directly, without involving Bynder Support.
Preferred derivative (UCV customization)
Users can now configure a preferred derivative to load by default in the Universal Compact View. When an asset is selected, the predefined, preferred derivative is determined automatically, removing the need to manually choose from the derivative list each time.
View limited usage assets in UCV
Limited Usage assets can now be searched and viewed in the Universal Compact View, including their thumbnails. This allows users to identify and work with embargoed or restricted assets in the DAM while usage remains controlled through token-based access for public or CMS delivery.
Studio
Studio: AI-powered image editing
Studio now includes AI-powered image editing tools directly in the editor. A new Edit with AI option lets users resize images, remove or replace backgrounds, and perform smart edits using natural language prompts without ever leaving the design. Enhanced images are instantly applied to the layout and automatically saved to Uploads for future reuse.
DAT
Fonts UI version 2
You can now upload and manage custom fonts using the Version 2 Fonts interface in DAT. All existing fonts are available in the new interface and have been mapped to the Version 2 naming convention (some font names may appear different), so they continue to work in your transformations. This experience replaces the previous legacy font upload flow.
Integrations
Bynder’s platform is open and connected with more than 145+ pre-built integrations and growing. Check out our newest integrations:
AI Search in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
You can now use Natural Language Search and Image Similarity Search when selecting assets through the Bynder Asset Component in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This allows marketers to find relevant images using descriptive phrases or by visually similar content, without relying on exact metadata or tags.
Showell
You can now connect Bynder with Showell to make approved assets available for use in sales presentations and shared content. This integration enables sales teams to access up-to-date assets from Bynder within Showell, ensuring sales materials remain consistent with brand and marketing updates. Asset usage and presentation continue to be managed in Showell, while Bynder remains the source of truth for content.
Salsify (Lettuce)
You can connect Bynder with Salsify to use Bynder assets as part of your product content workflows. This integration enables the management of product imagery and rich media in Bynder while combining it with product data in Salsify for distribution to downstream channels. Bynder remains the source of truth for assets, while Salsify handles product information and syndication.
Slack (Gournay)
You can connect Bynder with Slack to share and surface Bynder assets directly in Slack conversations. This integration enables teams to reference and distribute approved assets directly within their collaboration workspace. The integration also supports Natural Language Search and receiving notifications on asset changes. Bynder remains the source of truth for asset management, while Slack is used for communication and sharing.
