DAM Audit Webinar

Learn how to clean, organize, and optimize your DAM portal.

Are you using any of the Adobe Creative Cloud products or Microsoft Office 365? This is intended to help you understand more about the LinkrUI integration and its capabilities.

LinkrUI is a plugin for the Adobe Creative Suite connecting InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, and AfterEffects with both Bynder DAM and Webdam products.  Users are able to interface with their DAM directly through the Adobe Creative Cloud product.  Assets used in projects are synchronized from the DAM, eliminating the need for manual updates of layouts when changes happen.

The plugin was created so that users can save time by editing metadata and tags from within Adobe CC and/or Microsoft Office 365, preventing workflows from being disrupted. You can streamline collaboration among teams by automatically finding and fixing broken links.

For more information on how to install and enable the plugin, check the knowledge base article Adobe Creative Cloud Integration.

How are you using LinkrUI? We want to hear from you!

Do psb files work with LinkrUI? I don’t seem to see those files when I search for them with LinkrUI.

Thanks @andy. At this time psb files are not supported. I have shared you request with our product team.

Been a while since i tested linkui, but from what I remember there wasn’t a way to switch between low res and high res when linking files in for example Indesign. Working with low res while working on your design and switching all linked files to high res once you want to export to pdf.

Hi, I’m trying to get LinkrUI to work on Adobe Express, but the activation code we had only worked on Adobe Illustrator/Indesign MAC desktop for me. Is it a different type of licensing for Adobe Express as that was a add-in, rather than the .DMG file that was used to get desktop Adobe apps working. https://santacruzsoftware.com/linkrui/social/

My other question is now that Photoshop 2025 is here, I’d thought I’d give LinkrUI another go to see if it’s any quicker than just searching and downloading via a web page. I cannot seem to find where the LinkrUI panel is or how to get to the extensions - had this working a couple years ago and removed it. https://support.bynder.com/hc/en-us/articles/16126811147154-How-To-Enable-Adobe-Creative-Cloud-Connector-by-LinkrUI#h_01J49S14PYH8DTQTH735FSPHJJ

Hi @W.S.Lau. I'm currently looking into what details I can share regarding activation codes and licensing types. In the meantime, these articles might be helpful as a starting point

Hi @Ryanne Perry I contacted Santa Cruz Software Company helpdesk, they informed me that Adobe Express is actually a different license type. Also the fix for showing LinkrUI in PS is...

If you’re using Photoshop 2025 on MAC, the LinkrUI extension may not be visible. To enable, go to your Applications folder > Adobe Photoshop 2025 > right-click Adobe Photoshop 2025.app > Get info > and then check the box “Open using Rosetta” > Close pop-up.

Open Photoshop > Window > Extensions (legacy) > LinkrUI (select to open the panel to connect to Byunder)

Thank you for sharing your findings here @W.S.Lau, that is helpful! As you mentioned, Adobe Express is a different connector/license. I have let your CSM know and they will follow up with you.
