No clear reason for upload failures

When I upload assets, the status only shows “failed” or “successful,” but it doesn’t explain why an asset failed. It becomes difficult and frustrating to understand what went wrong. Is there any way to get detailed error messages or logs for failed uploads?

Thanks for reaching out ​@Shiwani Thakur  I can see how frustrating it can be to see an error without a clear explanation. At the moment, the platform doesn’t provide detailed error messages for this workflow.

If you’re seeing repeated failures, here are a few things to double-check:

  • File type and format

  • File size limits

  • File naming conventions

  • CSV structure and formatting (for bulk uploads)

If everything looks correct and the issue continues, feel free to share more details and we’ll be happy to help investigate further!


@Ryanne Perry Jumping in to add that an error log would be particularly helpful because the filename disappears when an asset fails in the upload screen. Not a huge deal if you’re only uploading a few things, but I have 33 in a batch and 2 failures, so trying to track down which of the 33 made it in and which didn’t is really frustrating without some reference to the failed filenames.
