Hi together,

it would be very helpful if you can also use the Related Asset function when doing a mass upload. That is, we would like to have the function that we already specify in the CSV file which of the images are in turn related during the upload. Maybe others in the community feel the same way? I would be happy if the topic could perhaps be developed.

Hi @el.B - good question. We not able to relate assets during an import because that relation is based on the Asset ID, and the Asset ID is only available once the assets are actually stored in Bynder.

There is a workaround that some others have used: On upload, you can use a unique tag or metaproperty field to track what assets should be related. Then, once assets are in the system, you can filter on that tag or metaproperty to build out and apply the appropriate relations.

I’d also love to hear how others are handling this. And in the meantime, I’ll submit a product request on your behalf.
