Hi, I have to install severall laptops with the adobe creative cloud connector on enterprise / firm laptops behind firewalls  and other sequrity features.

Need i to open ports in the firewall to several ips and ports?
Can i use a proxy in the connector?

Thanx for help.

Great to see you in the Community @Wunderhorn. Can you tell us which Adobe Connector you are using?

Hi Ryanne, i have to try to install and licence this version:

Creative Cloud PlugIn LinkrUI

Which ports do I need to open and to which IP? Our firewall is IP-based. Can I possibly specify a proxy as well?

Thanks.

Thanks @Wunderhorn. It’s possible this is a security related issue. I am looking into this.

Hi @Wunderhorn. I have an update for you. The integration uses HTTPS, so you need to ensure port 443 is open. This is standard for secure web traffic and API communications. The connector does not have dedicated IP addresses as the addresses are dynamic. Therefore, it’s important to allow outbound HTTPS traffic through port 443 without restricting it to specific IPs.

Hello Ryanne,

is it possible to set up a proxy server in the connector? That way, we could work around our issue with the changing IP addresses.

Thx for the help.

Hi @Wunderhorn. Yes it is possible to setup a proxy server for the integration. However, this is not something that Bynder can help with.
